Sympathy Card Two.

Good evening friends, followers and visitors..

Finished this second Sympathy card today, think I prefer this  to this mornings.



Same outer frame using Sue Wilson, Rectangles..
Did a smaller frame inside coloured with distress ink. "Tumbled Glass".
Gothic Window and cross`s one..same.




Ecstasy Crafts "Dazzling Sun Burst" 5x7 folder..
 Poppystamps.. "Sylvan Frame" 
 Cherry Lynn  "Tiny Flowers"..shaded with ink added "Liquid Pearls "White Opal"

Daphne Butterfly.

Good morning friends, followers and visitors..welcome to new followers..thank you for joining me.


Today I am blogging over on  Poppystamps blog  this is my DT card..
I have done a bit of splattering with silver ink and  distressing with white Gesso, just touches you might see.


Card size 7"x 7"finished.  I have used this beautiful"Daphne Butterfly", there is no a solid shape, so I adhered a white cut butterfly to white card and cut around the shape, next I cut one in pink card, adhered both together by the centre body, left the wings to look like they are flying.



I sat this butterfly on the New "Grand Stick Frame" green outside..white splattered centre.. touch of white Gesso.
Next I cut white card around 5" square, embossed in a folder from my stash, splattered again in silver... I used  pink  die cut "Shaker square" by Memory Box..  Open Studio.
Cut another green "Grand Stick Frame" cut into four pieces, then placed on  the 5" card corners.
Embellished with "Freida Leaf"  Seam binding..stick pins, sentiment taken from Poppystamps "Hope and Thanks" clear stamps, stamped onto "Stitched main Street Tags".. dotted around some small Butterfly Sprinkles in pink.

Sharing this special birthday card, it is a commission card for her special friend, who happens to be my special friend too..

I must say I am really impressed with Tattered Lace "Charisma Climbing Rose" + CD. I have a few of these die + cd sets, it`s the first time I have used them!!! will not be my last..

45th Wedding Anniversary.

Good evening friends, followers and visitors..

Sharing a commission card dreaded man!!! ..This is for "Husband  on their  45th wedding anniversary" (Sapphire) from his Wife hence the blue card.





Main circle Spellbinders Grand Circle (retired)
Fawn card using Tonic "Twisting Veranda" this die has lines for the pattern! Cut two and twist one to create the little squares.
Next I cut the size shape down from this in blue  &  Memory Box..Open Studio.."Stitched Circle Layers".

Tonic. "Sentiments Partner Die set" .. I could have cut this up & removed "Perfect"...I have  used ribbon and brads through the ends of the die ..Raised from the card. (Hard to see from the photo angle)






Heart is from Tim Holtz "Thinlets Scribbles & Splat"die set. Large gem added.

Computer sentiment cut with spellbinder Banner Die Large set..to create a fish tail.

Bottle and glass`s also from spellbinds really old die..inked through the die distress ink, Faded Jeans.
Glossy accents used on the bottle and glass`s and a few bubbles above the glass`s.

Birthday For Dad.

Good morning friends, followers and visitors..

Sharing my card for Poppystamps blog  today..dreaded Male card..



This card is flat for posting.
Outer frames are from my bit box.... I cut the Poppystamps "Boddington Collage" die with grey card, extended the width to fit in the frame..next using white card  I cut the "Stick frame boarder" adhered to the base  as shown, I then cut   "Park Bench" inked this with blue ink adhered to bottom right corner.





I have used the "Happy Birthday Celebration Frame" for my  "Happy Birthday Dad" cut away the wording from the outer frame,  die cut just the end of birthday to make my Dad. 






To finish  cut  "Quiet Bird Sash" this stay`s in your card, I cut it away, inked the bird blue, adhered to the top left.  next "Chirping birds" where placed around.. 
I also splattered ink over the card and added black dots with a permanent pen.

This is the Poppy Edge die, LOVE POPPIES... cut one in white card and four layers for each flower head in red crepe paper, these where placed as shown. think crepe paper give a realistic poppy flower..





Pearl.. black stamens & beads in the centre flower. 
Pretty Poppystamp Butterfly Sprinkles, Hip Hello & Stick Frame, place on Crea-nest-lies stitched rectangles. stem coloured with distress ink. Bundled Sage.

Sharing a commission card for a 60th birthday today.


Card size 7.1/2" square.
Main card base cut with Sue Wilson "Noble Pinpoint Square" dies 
Lace edge Tonic. "Venetian Lace" die.

Hearts by Tattered Lace.. "Pearl Pin Dot Hearts" Large & Medium, then cut one from "Pin Dot Hearts",  cut "Best Wishes"coloured with ink and adhered to this. 
Also used Tattered Lace"Tuck In Hearts" 60 from Memory Box Numbers.






Tattered Lace "Charisma Climbing Rose" printed in lilac/pink shade, cut with matching die.
Love sentiment is from Tonic"Flip Flop" Love Is Set.
Cherry Lynn"Leaf Flourish"and Sue Wilson "Delicate Fronds" shaded with ink, pearls with heart pearl in the flower centre.

Hi Everyone, well busy day today, went to the craft show at the "Dome Doncaster "today, much the same as usual!!! boy has it been hot at last today, it`s  been that cold all week had to have the heating on..

This card I have made for my Daughter & Granddaughter, their college is leaving there work place, manage to get it finished this afternoon..


My favourite colours Lilac/white/green..
Main card shape Tonic "Twisting Veranda" centre panel embossed with "Tattered Lace".."Cherry Blossom" embossing folder.
Centre Heart..Tonic "Flip Flop"  Love Is Die, using just the Heart, small heart "Little B", Love from Flip Flop Set. Memory Box.. "Stitched Bow"






Mix of flowers most were already cut in my bit box.

Spring Time & Doves.

Good morning everyone, welcome to new followers thank you for joining my blog..

Thank you all who leave me your kind comments, really appreciate them! you realise that you are not alone and bloggers do come by and see your posts.



This my second DT card  for   Tutti Designs.    would love you to  pop over and leave me a comment! if you have time. 







This half circle die called     "Spring Time" 109  .. I have used as a tag holder!  you cannot remove the tag I adhered to the base card, Sentiment stamp from my stash.




Few step by step how I created the holder.

Top Left... One die cut "Spring Time Die" This I adhered to peach card and cut around with scissors..
Top Right.. using same die.. cut another one, this I used a stylus and matt to add some shape to the flowers on the wrong side.
Bottom Left.. Adhered to the main one ..Bottom Right.. Touch of colour using   my Pro Marker pens and stickles glitter glue.

I have used 3d foam tape just to the top half  of the half circle to raise off the tag & pva glue.







Next I die cut two Tutti Designs   Dove Branch 108 dies shaped the doves on one adhered both together and glued along the tag as shown..
Finished with few pearls and ribbon bow.

Celebration Frame.

Good morning friends, followers and visitors..


Sharing my DT card for Poppystamps blog  using  "Happy Birthday Celebration Frame" with this gorgeous "Bellina Corner". 





Think  I`m in a blue mood lately!  do love these colours though so clean looking... Finished card size 7"x 7"




I started this card with a square and using Memory Box  "Circle die"I cut out this circle, to place the "Happy Birthday"on top in blue outer frame and white happy birthday. 

This layer I used 3d double sided sticky foam tape to apply to the blue square 




I did this by cutting one circle Happy Birthday in  White & Blue, cut away the blue text and adhered to the white frame.



Poppystamps"Bellina Corner"I have layered up using"Emelia Butterfly trio" this is a solid background die, which matches the corner.




Finished this card with "Petal Ribbon" tied ribbon knot, pearls and glitter.

Friends And Tea.

 Good morning friends, followers and visitors, I am posting on Tutti DesignsBlog today as it`s Wednesday!


The card I`m sharing today is 7"x 7".


I love friends and Tea!

 Here is the   Teapot Panel Die.     I cut this twice in white card... Next just the Tea Pot in pattered paper, on this I  I used a clear embossing pad and embossing powder, then heat embossed with my heat gun to make it a shinny pot.      



  
Pretty Stacked Butterfly Cups.



I cut in white card, then just the butterflies in patterned paper and adhered as shown.


               Dianthus Bunch Die.   



Flowers cut with paper just a few sprays used, sparkle black gems added to the centres.

Draw Easel Card.

Hello blog friends, followers and visitors..  are you like me and hoping for summer weather! fed up of cold and rain..

Today I`m sharing this "Draw Easel Card" I made for a dear friend, to celebrate her 70th birthday, it is something she can keep out on display, rather then put in a draw..
I made this around six weeks ago, so will try to add some details that I remember. lol.

Finished size 7.1/2" square. Using A3 cream card....wish you could see IRL.. really is pretty..  Picture Heavy Post!!!




I started by making the draw using:     Next .. I made a wrap to go around the draw 6.1/4" x 16" from                      A3 card. Scoring @ 6.1/4" ..7.1/4".  13.1/4". 14.1/4".. 
margin left is to glue for the wrap............
Tattered Lace square box base die.
6"square  1"deep.














Wrap.. this I re-enforced with grey board, cutting to size, base/top/sides.




Papers Dovecraft. Floral Muse.



Sue Wilson "Exquisite Poppy" from Icon...Mould from E-Bay..Martha Stewart clay...
Tonic Mousse "Mother Of Pearl" ..Distress Ink.. "Antique Linen" used on all the box and embellishments.

Love this pretty Butterfly Strip.. this panel measures 4.1/4" square, trimmed  the length to fit.
Stamp from my stash, trail Liquid pearls "Majestic Purple".





I cut two "Rose edge"dies in white to layer these tiny butterflies, shaped the rose in the panel, coloured with distress ink and layered up with a base purple colour card I cut with scissors, finished with Majestic Purple liquid pearls.

Sharing my Design Team card for    Poppystamps dies       Blog Today




Love this Poppystamps "Daphne Bloom"die, I have used this before, had to use again! 


Unusually colour Green for me to use, but I think it looks summery with teamed with Cream card. 




Close up for you to see the flower and colours. 



This Green card has a leather look to it, which I have distressed with a sanding block! also distressed side panels I dry embossed in a folder.


On this Stepper card, I have decorated with Poppystamps  dies"Heart Swoosh"..  "Stitched main Street Tags"..   ect..  
Ribbon & pearls.

Butterflies and Flower Oval.

Good morning Friends, followers and visitors , sharing my card from over on the   Tutti Designs.  

blog today..


I have used ONE Tutti Designs cutting die..Butterfly Oval. to create this card with one sheet of 8x8 paper!








I have die cut this  pretty "Butterfly Oval" in white card twice, then just the butterflies  in  soft pink pearl card, these were layered up onto one oval as shown, after adhered to an oval cut with green paper. The one remain butterfly oval I coloured with green ink and cut apart to use these on the card and in the floral silk flowers.



I used my rotary cutter scallop blade to create these borders, with strips of inked edge paper behind, the centre panel bottom half I dry embossed in a folder.
7.1/2 " x 7.1/2" card.

I have used Sizzix"Royal Flip Its" 659634 .. for my card shape, 6.1/4" x 5.1/2" Open--
4.1/2" x 5.1/2"closed. so easy to make and decorate these cards.

To make my Hot Air Balloon.lol.. I have used Poppystamps ..Heart Balloons...Bushel Basket with heavy cotton.. coloured some in blue ink and used Glossy Accents for the shine!.
Houses and Clouds from Memory Box..Open Studio.."Circle Forest Scene"die set. perfect size for small scenes..

Poppystamps stamps on the flip. stamped in black.. "Into The Words" "The Sky`s The Limit"& "Hang In There".  
"Make Today Amazing" from"Flower Patch" CL428  also flowers stamped in blue and black outline, Cut with the matching die 1540.. 
"Hampstead Butterfly Stem" here  arranged with these flowers.

New Home Card.

Good afternoon friends, followers and visitors, well we have a lovely sunny day here, wonder how long before the rain arrives!!!

Sharing a card I made few weeks ago for our "New Neighbours", seem a lovely young couple with family.. Still miss my old neighbour of 43years..




Main card Sue Wilson. Noble Pinpoint Squares.

First time I have used this Tim Holtz "Passage Door" 659435 steel rule die from Country View Crafts, I bought this for Christmas cards last year!.I cut two and layered up panels for dimention, shaded edges with DI Antique Linen ink.
Background embossing Tims bricks 656644. embossing folder.
