What a cold day today, rain this morning and sunshine now, but so cold and really windy..


Made two Baby Girl cards  same design, love these Bootees by Serendipity Baby Die Set These can be ordered now From   http://www.oysterstamps.co.uk/     here





Easy quick card to make this one, cut the top Outline Bootees in White card & solid in Flesh card, used memory box Open Studio"Stitched Bows", with thin strips of flesh card to make it look as though they are hanging from the bow..LOL.





These I placed on Memory Box. Open Studio  "Stitched Scallop Circle"& Plain "Circle  Layer" 
Poppystamps  "Butterfly Buttons"

Good morning friends, followers and visitors..


Card using some oldish dies from my stash..

7.1/2" x 6" card.

Started by making a frame with Spellbinders 5x7 card creator "Mystical Embrace" had a long while and not used!!

I cut the Mystical Embrace in pale blue pearl card, then cut the centre out with a craft knife,  used matting basic set to create a frame in white also cut this centre out, adhered the blue M/E to this..










Flowers are Heartfelt Creations"Blazing Poppy"collection  (Used once before).
Started by using the stamps, I stamped on Velum & Translucent Pearl Paper with Blazing red "Stazon".. then cut out with the matching die.
The paper ones I spritzed  with Dylusions "Cherry Pie Spray".
Next I shaped these petals with tweezers, just pinched and twist the end petals, using hot glue added black Beadz.

With Love sentiment by Tattered Lace.
Adhered the Poppies with spider webb, Poppy Stamps"Freida Leaf"..

Good afternoon friends, followers and visitors..

Today`s card using cutting dies new to me, sent by  Oyster stamps, Apple Blossom Dies here  these cut lovely..
This card use`s "You Make My Heart Sing".  7" x 7" size.






I cut the die with aqua card colour, to add definition to the wording I used Viva Inka Gold Turquoise


Background in the circle has been embossed in a Darice Basket Weave folder .. Memory Box. Open Studio. Pinpoint Scallop circle.

Good evening blog friends.

Posting this card tonight as I`m going to York craft show tomorrow, first time at this venue instead of Harrogate Show Ground, hope it`s ok.


This card mainly uses "Apple Blossom Dies".. Oyster Stamps

7.3/4" x 7.3/4" card size. flat for posting!  Miss my raised flowers!!!

 
This Apple Blossom Floral Border 2. is nearly 6" so a good size, I die cut Pink card on both edges with Memory Box.. Open Studio.. "Stitched Country Borders"then  glued to a touch larger black card.

Best wishes " Locket Sentiment 1" die. I cut in black and white to create a shadow.
Placed on  Poppystamp dies."Stitched Main Street Tags"..
"Ornate Corner 5" cut in black card.





Embossed background by..Creative.. "Basket weave" e/f A4. from Craftstash, have not seen for a long while though.

Main Card uses Sue Wilson ..Noble Double Pinpoint Squares.

Bellina Butterfly Collage.

Good morning friends, followers and visitors..

Sharing my DT card today for  Poppystamps Blog. http://poppystamps.typepad.com/ 


On today`s card I have used this Poppystamp die"Bellina Butterfly Collage" this cut`s  out of the card and leaves the negative behind, top layer in cream card adhered to white card,  at the same time I cut a circle to stamp through, with Open Studio Circle layers.

I first cut out in card for a mask, which I could add ink colours and shading through to my main white card, below! 





I used distress inks in orange shades, dark at the centre butterflies, going lighter towards the edge.


Main card piece, I then adhered over these shaded butterflies. 
Close up of these butterflies, I decided it needed something to emphasis the cut out, used a black pen to make random dots. 



Next I stamped this beautiful Memory Box Sentiment in black ink,through the circle cutout, then I   cut a scalloped circle with "Stitched Scallop Circles" had to remove the centre cut out next as the die is to large to use together. Adhered this on the card.
Two Hampstead Corners to finish,  double cut the flowers to layer in up, orange and white.
Embossing folder from my stash for the background. Crafters Companion  Texture.
Glitter and black beads to finish.

8.1/4" x 4.3/4" card size.

I have used this  Apple Blossom Die.. "Clematis", lovely long delicate shape.




I cut extra flowers from the die in Lilac velum, after the flower spray was glued onto my base card I added black dots with a Micron pen..

Two cut outs Memory Box ..Open Studio. "Distress Addington Collage" , the mat a touch larger I used Distress inks "Bundled Sage"& Shaded Lilac, as show through colours.







Old Kaisercraft..Friendship  Sentiment with Seam binding..

Well not sure on this card, one of those card ideas you get! Mmmm  nothing like that.lol.



Card size 8.1/4" x 6.1/2"



This centre Butterflies and swirls is Poppystamps "Bellina Corner"die...framed in the PS "Sylvan Frame"this started of with.. thought it needed colour!!! so I had to colour with a pro marker when all had been stuck down..lol.






This Bellina Corner cut`s the butterflies out of the frame. I used the "Emelia Butterfly Trio"plain one cut in pink card glued in the frame,  then die cut in biscuit colour  & white card  adhered the centres to layer up.
 Cherry Lynn.. Tiny Flowers on the branches, dots of Viva paper pen in green.
Watered down white Gesso, with Tim Holtz Splatter Brush..





Made a frame with "Crea-Nest-Lies" XXL 24.
Anna Marie, spotty card.. distress & inked edges..
Inkyliciouse sentiment, stamped onto"Stitched Main Street Tags" I straightened the top by re-cutting the shape of with the bottom of the die..

MDF Golden Wedding Heart.

Thank you for your comments you leave me, really appreciate you stopping by and leaving them.


Sharing this MDF heart I made a while ago,  the recipient our friends celebrated their Golden Wedding on the 12th March..
This I made rather than a card to store in a draw.  she love it has pride of place on display.




The white background is pearl paper, adhered with pva glue.
I have used Heartfelt Creations  "Sunkissed Fleur" Stamps HCP 3533. Clear inkpad and wow Metallic Gold embossing powder.
Next I cut these with the matching die..Sunkissed Fleur. HCD 734.
Rubbed a touch of gold gilding wax over.






Layered these flowers up with pva glue in the centres,
Sue Wilson "Delicate Fronds" leaf die... ribbon/mesh/pearls & made stick pins.



Computer text, cut with heart die, then placed on Memory box. "Queen Of Hearts"die, cut gold and white to create a shadow.
To finish I print a sentiment and adhere to the reverse. ribbon to hang.

Butterfly Panel.

Good afternoon blog friends,  well our weather sure has change! from lovely warm sunny days!! to cold & dull to-day..



Card today using  "Apple Blossom" Butterfly Panel die" & old "Cherry Lynn dies".





Was not sure how to use this panel die..started with white card.. I cut with "Crea-nest-lies" XXL 24..largest size  die 5"x 6.1/2"..I then cut the Butterfly panel out..left side, embossed with Tattered Lace corner embossing folder, from Butterfly Garden set.
Next I placed the panel back in the cut out and used double sided tape to hold in place, next added 3d foam tape to all this.
..Do-Crafts Capsule "Oyster Blush" peeking through the panel. this I then adhered to a touch larger navy card.



 Flowers..leaves and swirl all by my old Cherry lynn dies..flowers cut with the blush paper, then  inked with distress ink..Tea Dye..pearls added in the centres.

Did not think I liked panel dies!!! but change my mind as I like this card..hope you do too..

Happy Easter to you All.

Sharing my DT post for  Poppystamps  today.





Love this Poppystamp die"Happy Birthday Melody" great die for male or female even children. this I adhered to a Gray card  panel. The pretty white border.   Memory Box. Open Studio. "Stitched Country Border" with "Country Stitches" this one just emboss`s your card.  






I made the floral display with"Prairie Thistle" &  "Hampstead Stem".  I have no idea what this thistle looks like,  so used my favourite Spun Sugar distress ink and glitter, I cut two and layered the flower heads up, with a hot glue gun, leaf spray  cut with white and gray card, used a pro maker to colour these green.
Two Stitched  Main Street Tags, placed behind the border, rayon ribbon and charm added.

Spent mine crafting!
Not nice weather today, very cold wind..Sunshine and heavy showers and as I`m typing Thunder!!!Lightning ..Hale stones size on pea`s ..what  a noise !!!1 gone so black Wow...hope PC stays on..


Card size 6.1/2" x 6.1/2"


Butterfly card again..mind I love butterflies and flowers.
This stamp is great for music and Butterflies..by "Find It Trading".. stamped onto M/B. open studio ."Stitched Oval Layers"




Apple Blossom craft die.. "Musical Butterfly" . cut three butterflies & layered up, coloured with distress inks.



Apple Blossom Leaf 1, I inked through and flower from my bit box...cherry Lynn dies.

Corner Poppystamps"Cottage Corner"inked through the die before I removed it.
Next this was placed onto Sue Wilson "Noble Double Pinpoint Squares" I cut one 6.1/2" square, then embossed with one  size down, using both dies..(looks like more square layers).

My day to post a DT card on   poppystamps   blog   today.

 Do you ever look at a die and think, could this be used in a different way! this is how I came about to use this Poppystamp  "Side Lattice Cutout" . 



I used this border die as a background for my floral  display of  "Delicate Dogwoods"&  "Hampstead  Stem", it can be made as large as you wish, frame made with Memory Box. Open Studio.  "Stitched Oval Layers".



I have put black dots around the four holes! you need to see the edge your card through these holes!  


This is the reverse side after I cut the border, can you see the edge of the die, this is how you cut your card, there will be no card between these diamonds, so you create a continuous background.  hope you can understand me. lol. 



I stamped a sentiment from Poppystamps clear stamp set "Hope and Thanks, onto "Stitched main street Tags" also used "Dogwood Blossom Corner"..  Open Studio. Grosgrain Ribbons..  
Embossing a folder from my stash. Sue Wilson. "Tartan Trellis" A4. 
Pearls with Martha Stewart Micro Beads, flower centre .

Hi blog friends followers and visitors..

Needed a change! so had a play with some papers!! never seem to get to use them from a vast stash.

This beautiful paper is from"Dovecraft""Floral Muse" had to buy these in 8x8 & 6x6 pads, peachy pinks and green colours..just me.


Large heart is Tattered Lace cut three to make this easel card. I used the third in from the largest size.


Only used one sheet from the 8x8 pad, this gorgeous lady on Poppystamps Tag, I found on Pinterest re-sized to fit the tag.


I have used Poppystamp dies to embellish.. and my lace, yet to add a sentiment to the inside.
Special card for a special person..in my box ready..lol

These corners do not match, but I do not think they look odd!  After cutting both  corners I inked through the die before removing it from the card.  couple of score lines done on my score board, I folded the top one , this flap I adhered to the card front !







No need to glue the corners down.!!







Down the centre of the flap, Open Studio.. Grosgrain Ribbon with a Stitched Bow. these  were  adhered to the card front.
Floral arrangement..  Poppystamps "Velvet Blossoms" with "Freida Leaf"..I used distress inks Lilac & Bundled Sage. through these  flowers Lilac.
To finish  bottom right corner "Hello" die cut & gems.

My card for this months #Pretty In Pink# Challenge.
Card size 7.3/4" square.  Cream / Pink..











































Love the New Poppystamps April release dies.. This gorgeous flower, so unusual "Daphne Bloom"..I cut two full sprays + one flower head, in Pink & Cream.. then just added a sparkler in the centre. 







Main card cut with S/W Noble Double Pinpoint Squares.

Good morning friends, followers and visitors..welcome to new follower  Pauline thank you for joining me.

My poor Daughter had to buy a Sympathy card as I did not have any made in my box...

Seems to have taken ages to make, with things not going right and popping out shopping everyday, was doing two! only got this one completed..

Outer frame made with Sue Wilson "Noble Double pinpoint Rectangles"

Embossed background I have used the discontinued "Craft Concepts"Sun Ray, did some shading to create a sun with gold "Pan pastels" 

New Poppystamps die "Weeping Willow Archway" not quite wide enough for the frame, I added more hanging branches to the right of the tree trunk..
