Different take on Christmas cutting dies today! 
None Christmas card..



Blue/white card & Poppystamps "Stitched Poinsettias Trio"again..Sorry!lol.

Oval card shape for a change, using Sue Wilson Noble  "Oval double Pinpoint"7.1/4"x 6"..


Beautiful circle frame from   Amy Designs.."Ice Crystal Frame". cut in white card..













Love the shape on the outside and in!..
Inside this die cut you get these lovely large lacy scallops, I have raised these, love the shape it leaves behind too, I stamped my blank cut out with Memory Box Sentiment stamp "Kindness Of People" CS2038C.

Among the flowers I add a touch of bright green with Freida Leaf.  

Flowers layered up with "Cosmic Shimmers" pva glue. 
Glued to to card as shown with  my Hot Glue Gun. pearls in the centers.

Wintertide Owl.

Good morning everyone.

Some thing really different from me today! 

love owls ..thought this beauty would make great men`s! cards.. If you perhaps used one on it`s own..and dark colour card..




I cut these in white card added shading with distress ink "Hickory Smoke".
I glued to grey card and cut around with scissors, using black pen & white gel pen I added some detail through the cut lines..Not sure if these are correct colours! but I wanted grey and white owls .lol...  


These were placed using 3d foam tape on to oval shapes.. white by Tim Holtz "Stitched Ovals 661188"green Stitched Oval Sue Wilson..perfect match!..
Branch is Tim Holtz "Holiday Greens Mini 661597"mixed in some purchased berries, brown is of a tree where we walk our dog..berries dried on the tree added a touch of white gesso..
Sentiment Inkylicious "Spread Your Wings" stamped in Archival Watering Can ink, onto Poppystamps "Festival Tags".

House In The Woods.

Good morning Crafty friends, followers and visitors, 

Sharing my DT card from over on http://poppystamps.typepad.com/  blog today.







I have used as the main focal point on the card..Poppystamps "House In The Woods"from the new release.  I cut the house in red to create a shadow. . cardinals also poppystamps.







I made a frame using Memory Box ..Open Studio  "Stitched Square Layers"..I used  the largest plus 3rd from the largest die to create this frame...this I raised up with 3d foam tape.
House in the woods adhered to the back of the frame.
Stitched hills in the background.. 



Merry Christmas banner across the top, with Frisky Squirrels.. 
Made more card mats as shown in red and white, across these I placed hessian ribbon..made a bow, which I crunched  up, added berries with Pine Twigs die.. 
Hope you like this clean looking red and white card.

Warm welcome to new followers.

Another Christmas card design today!
Sorry those   Poppystamps"Stitched Poinsettia Trio"again..




I went to a craft show Sunday and picked up this Dark Red/Burgundy light weight card..had to use it on this card! even though it was half made in white and silver!!!.

This white beautiful Find It ..Amy Designs .. Christmas Greeting Frame . has been layered onto Sue Wilson Noble Double Pierced squares.  This I stamped and embossed Justrite "Grand Christmas Sentiments" in silver! at the same time I sprinkled Frantage chunky White & chunky Silver.
One complete frame and the bottom with houses and trees with deer cut again, adhered to the bottom to give a bit of dimension.
Mattered onto silver/white/red/ glued in  placed onto main card.




I die cut the bells and music note in Silver, the just the bells in Red. 

Poinsettias have been cut and layered up as shown in white and red and some string beads.

Birthday card today...using Find It Trading.   .Amy Designs.. Ice Crystal Frame..  



Cream - Blue - Green
Z fold card..finished size 6" x 7.1/2" 
A4 card..score in half.. one half into quarter..the edge on the quarter mark & half score mark I cut a HALF circle .. where I wanted my Ice Crystal Frame.. 
Fold on your half score and quarter score ..you should have a full circle as shown.. in the photo below..I adhered this down.

I have cut two Ice Crystal Frames one for the front and second for inside this was adhered to match up with the front circle.

Sorry  for this fuzzy photo..but think you`ll get the idea of the design..lol

Silver embossed sentiment  Quietfire Designs. I picked up in a sale. Gentle Thoughts.

Good morning friends, followers and visitors..

Sharing my Traditional coloured Christmas card today, over on  Poppystamps Blog



Very rare for me to make or use tags! but I love these Poppystamps "Stitched Main Street Tags" and the New "Snowflake Tag" this die matches the  Main Street Tags dies. 





I have cut in card colours..Silver ..White.. Red..  Snowflake Tag..White & Burgundy I just used these pretty snowflakes. 

Bow I have used "Bow & String" removed the string..  "Formal candles" white shadows with  burgundy card. 
Decorated with "Freida Leaf" and dried foliage I picked from a tree, few chocolate pearl drops & white Gesso.



My background for this card..I have used "Birch Press Designs" Dazzle Layers Backgrounds" A-B.. Not just for Rectangles!! I removed these corners and made an Oval 3/4" frame to fit.. you need 5" x 4" inside edge to cover this..




Hope this helps you  to what I mean. using Sue Wilsons dies  for the Oval.


I placed this finished Tag on an  angle, finished with CL441- Poinsettia Joy clear stamp from Poppystamps  onto small tag &  gems.

White on White Birthday Card.

Good morning everyone... how is your weather today! brr ours is cold and rain,  very bad rain in the night as forecast.. hope you are all safe..

Love all white cards, this one is so easy to make! think it`s the first time I have used one set of dies #plus one rectangle to make a card..



The set I have used  by  Tattered Lace.. Double Cascading Waterfall    here.. (shop around though)  
# Lace Pearl Rectangles.

Not a lot to say about this card! you do need one A4 card for the main shape # A4 cutting machine.

Everything on the stepper card is from this die set..



Lacy side panels I cut after the main shape.
Flowers I shaped..glittered added from bit box a couple of hearts also TL.
finished with seam binding bow/mesh.

Christmas Robin.

Trying to make Christmas cards that are flat for mailing...
Hard for me to do!!!



Finished card Size 7"x 7" using Sue Wilson "Noble double Pierced Squares".
Also made a frame using same dies.

Other dies used are Tattered Lace. & Poppystamps.






This gorgeous Robin is "Melded Seasonal Symbol" TL

I started by die cutting my Poppystamps Stitched Square Layers 4" die.

Next I cut the Robin and matching side die out.
Colouring I used Tim Holtz. Distress Crayons & Markers
I used thin strips of 3d foam tape to raise slightly around the edge .
Lovely lattice work from Tattered Lace "T Bar Slider Set".
Adhered Robin  square to this.
Old Anna Griffin Christmas sentiment stamp. from a set.
Bead for eye  pearls and glitter to finish..

Home For The Holidays Wreath.

Good morning friends, followers and visitors..
Trying to make Christmas cards which are flat for mailing!  boy this is hard for me..lol.

I decided to make DL  (UK) size cards  one 4.1/4"x 8" and one 4" x 8" as I purchased a pack of red envelopes from a craft show in DL size..



These two cards use the same dies from Poppystamps..  myself I like the blue one, white card coloured with Distress ink "Stormy Sky", my husband likes the red pearls on this white on white card. both flat for mailing.



Main card shape using Tattered lace"Essentials Tags" Second largest die.

Poppystamps Crystalline corner on this design, has not been cut on the card corner!  I shaded through with ink before removing the die. 
Coloured my white card with ink, then die cut"Home For The Holidays Wreath" also did this for  Bow & String die. Joy I stamped onto Stitched Circle Layers, then adhered the wreath die cut onto this.




I cut the corner die out of this card, then dry embossed in a embossing folder the top. Noel from "Noel & Snowflake" glued to Classic Ribbons. finished with red pearls and gems.

Wintergreen Border.

Winter here today! boy is it cold..

Still playing around making flat Christmas cards..made two of these, lot quicker to do a second card after making  the first!

Finished card size 6"x 6" square. White card coloured with  Distress ink "Bundled Sage".




First time I have used this Winter Border from Poppystamps..available here  

Before I die cut the border I used .  Memory Box .Open Studio . "Country Stitches"along the top card piece.. cut the border and inked through with "Bundled Sage" ink on the holly leaves, removed the die and coloured the rest..

Card piece 5.1/2" square.
I have used Sue Wilson"Noble Double Pinpoint" to make two windows! using the smallest die in the set.. it cut a window 1.1/2" square.. just the right size for Memory Box.. Large Typewriter Uppercase Alphabet set.


Cut a card a bit bit larger than the top card..ink the bottom section for the windows and card edges.
Adhere  these together.
Hanging snowflake is by Memory Box " Hanover Snowflake" same snowflake as in the Wintergreen Border!
To finish I used Nuvo  "Key Lime" Jewel Drops..
  
Do like the delicate colour of this card..

Horrible day we have here today! think most of UK have this bad weather today, not stopped raining since last night.. hope everyone is safe and no floods around you, luckily here we do not get floods.

I made this card for my Granddaughters birthday, what a rush I had to get it done for the 11th. November used a few bits from my bit box!






Main card shape Creative Expressions.. Sue Wilson .. Noble Ornate Pierced Rectangles.. largest size.
second size in I used the pretty lace panel with the outer edge.

Center Heart..Tattered lace.."Melded Elegance"this can be left in the shape or removed, I removed.
You get the half scallop edge with this die, also stops in the card..
I also used Pin Dot Hearts as a background for this die.





Tattered Lace"Best Wishes .
Flower are Sue Wilson. "Delicate Daisies"complete flowers with "Heart Spray" dies, pearls look blue but they are purple!

terrible weather yesterday..





Both cards 8"x 7" using Sue Wilson "Noble Double Pinpoint Rectangles"

Sharing two baby cards..I have made ready for December..love that they know the sex before the arrival!!
Baby Boy for my neighbours, I have know idea of names, so for both cards I have made tags for inside, they can fill the details themselves.. I also made ribbon loops in the tops, can be hung up if they wish..



Think these Patchwork Animals by Tattered Lace are sooo cute!.. Used "Giraffe"& "Donkey" 
 Sue Wilson.. Shadow Box Collection "New Arrival" from the set also Feet..heart buttons.. pin..

Crystalline Corner.

Good morning friends, followers and visitors..

Sharing my DT card from  Poppystamps blog. today.

Another Christmas card.. 7"x 7" Square.







I started with white card 5"x 5". using Poppystamps "Crystalline Corner" die cut  two corners, next using  a touch larger card in red I adhered this piece, I placed snowflakes from the die cut, back in place.. across the center I glued in place strips of red/white/red card.





Top section. Poppystamps Marais Snowflake die,cut in white and red, I cut the larger outer section away on the red die cut.., red  swish from Poinsettia Ribbon die.. Peace from Clear stamp set  "Poinsettia Peace"CL440. stamped in Red  Adirondack Cranberry ink. another white card mat before adhering to the main card square, finishing touch red chiffon bow / gems.

Winter Frame.

Good morning friends, followers and visitors.. very cold start to our day in UK  frost brr hate cold! least it gone now but still cold..


Christmas card using  New Dies from Find It Trading  "Precious Marieke" From http://www.oysterstamps.co.uk/





Not a lot to add on this card design The frame is so pretty! I just added glitter on the snowflakes.
From my bit box I had this center inner from  "Ice Crystal Frame" here  I like the way it curves round the middle snowflakes on the frame.




Precious Marieke "Merry Christmas" die cut another bird to add a pop of red to the card.

I had this white frame in my bit box! used Sue Wilson Square Pinpoint dies.

Poppystamps "Snowflake Ribbon" in blue. Gems to finish this 7"x 7" card..

Winterfun Border & Corner..

Hello crafty friends, followers and visitors.. another Christmas card make today, quick and easy.






I started this card with the Winterfun Border Die.. &   Sue Wilson Rectangles.. 6"x 5" die to make this rectangle..
 Then used  the Winterfun Border die across the bottom. (This die only cuts the bottom snowflakes away.)
Next I embossed the dots with my old Cuttlebug folder across the top section.
Then added ribbon.




This Winterfun corner I cut in white, red boots  & silver for the blades, finished with Glossy accent for a shine on the red boots.
Die cut Merry Christmas, then glued to red card and fussy cut around..
Finished  card 7"x 6" top opener  using Sue Wilsons Rectangles.
Gems & glitter from my stash.

Snowglobe.

Hi crafty friends, followers and visitors.. cold and frosty start here today! suns out but still cold..

This is my first Snowglobe Christmas card.. 





Made myself a lot of work for nothing on this design! 
I was going for a see through acetate globe.. BUT change my mind I prefer this winter scene on black ..would love your opinions! 


This is the back of the globe ..so not much glitter in the acetate.

I cut two acetate circles with Spellbinders so I would have a  circle to fit the snowglobe. front one has been embossed with dots and white pen.
Using the die cut Snowglobe in white on a fold to make a top opener card.
Next I cut two Winter scene`s Trees coloured with distress Marker "Shabby Shutters"
I cut a spellbinder circle in black, adhered these scene`s ( this is where it would have been see through)  filled with glitter, then I placed in the two acetate circles ..I used foam tape to adhere together. 

Outer Globe cut two..inked in green ink, cut a thin circle in black  adhere as shown.
Merry Christmas cut in white and black to create a shadow when glued together.

Couple of easy Christmas cards today..
Main card cut with Tattered Lace "Pentagon Dies".. top point placed on a fold to create a top open 5.3/4"x 6" card. 




I have used Bark Effect green card sanded to revel the cream core and red Corrugated for the trims.. had both for years..
Main shape.
Tattered Lace Pentagon dies..  Spellbinder Circle.. Adhered to the main card.
This cute  Robin also Tattered Lace Freebie Die on issue 03 Christmas magazine.





I cut the Robin/Hollie die in brown card, then coloured using my Distress Pens.  
Mowed Lawn & Festive Berries..

Old stamp"From Our House To Yours".
in the circle.
Finished with Twine bow, did a bit of distressing with SnowTex & Gesso splatters.
Black bead for eye.

Wintergreen Border.

Today I am sharing a couple of cards,  White and  Cream both have a touch of colour used on them with distress ink Bundled Sage.


Easy style card to make, using one A4 card blank.. you need  card piece 8" x 5.3/4"..score and fold  this @ 2.1/4".
Next cut two card pieces  5.3/4" x 5 .3/4" and two @ 2.1/4" x 5.3/4" I embossed these in an embossing folder, inked the edges..adhered to the card fronts, the smaller ones back and front so you are not looking at a plain card inside.



Next cut Poppystamps Wintergreen  Border, ink with green through the die before removing it, then ink the ivy leaves, attach sticky 3d foam tape where it will not show  adhere to the front panel.

I cut the Costello Ornament  Background, I find it easier to colour card pieces in green ink!  then die cut as I have the Lexington Ornament  and Merry Christmas Banner dies.. 
3d foam tape on the back of the ornament solid, adhere the outline ornament onto this.
Next cut the Bow and String die, cut away the lines on the side of the bows and use these as hangers for the bauble.

Finished with few pearls.
Tip! if you leave the 3d foam tape of these cards ..they are flat 5.3/4" square cards for mailing.. bow is only shaped! no foam tape, is is glued in the centre only.
